Do you have old knives or weapons at home that you no longer need?

Dear Resident,

On Saturday 26 September 2026, from 2pm to 4pm, Wakefield Community Safety Partnership will be hosting its first Weapon Surrender Day alongside FazAmnesty at Wakefield Exchange (WX).

This is an opportunity to safely and anonymously hand in any unwanted weapons, including old kitchen knives, with no questions asked and no judgement.

Every weapon surrendered is one less weapon that could cause harm. Join us in helping to make Wakefield a safer place for everyone.
